Les Eyzies: “Creatures”, a magical nighttime stroll at the Grand Abri

The Alix ô Pays des Merveilles company, based in Les Eyzies, was founded in 2019. It now has around fifteen shows and employs around twelve artists from the Dordogne. After three initial performances, the company will offer three more unique dates of the nighttime wandering show "Créatures" at the Grand Abri in Les Eyzies, exploring a fantastical world.

This private and magical site will exceptionally open its doors this Thursday, August 6, to offer the public a glimpse of this live spectacle. The public will have nothing left to do but let themselves be captivated by mysterious creatures that will move among the trees, the rocks, and the water.

Discovering a parallel world

At nightfall, Aurore, a woman you can call "the guardian," will meet the audience. She will take them on a journey through the night to discover a parallel world. Mysterious encounters with half-human, half-animal creatures that live in nature will take place. These strange beings seem to come from another world. In a dreamlike and fantastical atmosphere, located between dream and reality, the creatures live. Some refresh themselves in the river, others eat, emerge from the water, stretch, or fly in the air.
